    Ten Second Review
Ford Fiesta Lease Review - The Fiesta has propped up the hatchback market for years, and with the incarnation of the super-mini it has risen to the top of this pile too. The range predictably large with plenty of great options to choose from and something for almost every user.

Starting under the hood, you go from the lowly 1.25 petrol to a roaring 94bhp, 1.6 litre diesel but the pick has to be the 1.0 Ecoboost option. Powered by turbochargers to dramatically increase the power of the three cylinder engine to 99 bhp (or the higher 123bhp model if you are feeling sporty), this feels string all the way through due to its low rev limit and yet is still very smooth, plus is almost negligible to tax and cheap at the pump.

Where the Fiesta comes into its own is in the ride quality; this is close to perfect just for the driver or for when the rest of the family is in the back. You get a real sporty feeling with this model, this is easily one of the best superminis in terms of handling, and you still get a very comfortable ride despite the harder suspension. The exterior is perfectly styled to fit this ride, sporty enough to look good without losing its chic factor, while the interior is spotless. The dashboard is a particular highlight, it is well laid out without too many options and the LEDs and infotainment system look great.

In the back you can comfortably fit children and adults in stylish seats covered by two tone fabrics.  Unfortunately, these won’t fold back and while the boot will support a decent volume of luggage it isn’t the largest in the category.  In terms of standard kit the lower models are sparse, with only CD and electric windows for company, but the mid-range is very well equipped with air con, leather trim pieces and Bluetooth.

And you do get that familial security guaranteed by 5 NCAP starts, won though its full stability control and seven standard airbags. This is one of the best models on the range, and with Fords history of practical family cars mixed with some modern styling it is a great fit for almost anyone.

The Ford Fiesta is one of the most recognisable names out there when it comes to medium family vehicles. It is affordable, easy to drive, comfortable and requires little ongoing maintenance. In its seventh generation form the Fiesta is keeping up with the times and giving not only a dependable but entertaining drive. With a lot more invested in up to date technology drivers of basic Ford models no longer need to be the ugly duckling. The three cylinder 1 litre engine gives great performance when it comes to fuel efficiency. The new updated styling also allows for that much sought after combination of good looks and clean running. A great all round choice for the average family driver.
