Ten Second Review
Vauxhall Insignia Lease Review - Leave it to Vauxhall to offer many models of a design line, like their Insignia. The Insignia is available in a number of engines, with automatic and manual gearboxes, petrol or diesel. Insignia also offers a variety of trim with each model from the entry-level Design, mid-range SRi, and the top-range Elite.
Vauxhall gave its Insignia line an overhaul in 2013 to improve its styling and quality. They tweaked the chassis, including changes to the steering calibration and rear suspension. These changes improve the direct feel and road comfort of the car.
The restyling also affected the exterior. Insignia has a larger grille and revised LED headlights. The interior changes are not as noticeably altered but the centre console has fewer buttons because all Insignias are now equipped with touch-screen to handle the major functions.
Driving quality is now described as “incredibly comfortable” as the re-tooled Insignia handles long distances easily, filtering out even the biggest bumps. Engine and wind noise also are low.
The Insignia can comfortably seat five adults, has decent boot space, plenty of standard and safety kit, and overall good fuel and emissions efficiency. It is considered one of the most practical cars of its class.
