These words reflect the culture and philosophy that is central to our activity. In order to fulfill our objectives, Intelligent Car Leasing Limited abide by the 6 customer outcomes set out by the FCA in relation to Treating Customers Fairly.


Outcome 1: Consumers can be confident that they are dealing with firms where the fair treatment of customers is central to the corporate culture. Intelligent Car Leasing Limited consistently encourage core values of Engagement, Trust, Fairness and Respect through our dealings with customers, and also through our charitable work, community involvement and environmental practices. Our commitment to treating customers fairly is clearly outlined on our website and we invest in the training and development of our staff to ensure they are competent and focused on the importance of treating every customer fairly.


Outcome 2: Products and services marketed and sold in the retail market are designed to meet the needs of identified consumer groups and are targeted accordingly. All of our products and services have been tailored to the needs of our customers based on market demand, competitive pricing, and customer feedback. We never target specific customers and market our products and services on our website.


Outcome 3: Consumers are provided with clear information and are kept appropriately informed before, during and after the point of sale. Documentation is provided to customers to clearly and unambiguously explain how our fleet management solutions, products and services work. A full outline of all product types on offer is provided before each agreement to allow each customer to make a fully informed decision. Customers are updated regularly by our dedicated support team during and after their purchase, right up until the point of returning their vehicle to us.


Outcome 4: Where consumers receive advice, the advice is suitable and takes account of their circumstances. We monitor all correspondence and activities to ensure that each customers’ enquiry is treated consistently and that any advice given is in the customers’ best interests. This includes listening to calls, reviewing deal files and asking customers to complete a demands and needs statement to ensure that their individual circumstances have been taken into account.


Outcome 5: Consumers are provided with products that perform as firms have led them to expect, and the associated service is of an acceptable standard and as they have been led to expect. At Intelligent Car Leasing Limited, we continually assess and improve the services we provide to ensure we can meet changing requirements. Customer feedback is taken into account to ensure that we continue to meet and exceed customer expectations while maintaining competitive pricing.


Outcome 6: Consumers do not face unreasonable post-sale barriers imposed by firms to change product, switch provider, submit a claim or make a complaint. We empower our staff to ensure any concerns raised by a customer are immediately addressed. Detailed complaints information is outlined clearly on our website. All product risks and benefits are clearly outlined to customers pre-sale to avoid any post-sale contract issues.

BVRLA

Intelligent Car Leasing Limited is a member of The BVRLA, the UK trade body for companies engaged in the leasing, rental and fleet management of cars and commercial vehicles. The BVRLA Code of Conduct sets out the standards expected by members in all aspects of the brokering of leased vehicles. You can view this code of conduct here. BVRLA membership ensures the customer that they should expect the highest level of professionalism and integrity when using a BVRLA member.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

Our business is covered by the BVRLA Conciliation Service and the Financial Ombudsman Service. Any financial services complaints we cannot settle may be referred to either the BVRLA or the Financial Ombudsman Service. A copy of our complaints handling procedures can be supplied upon request.

VEHICLE DATA

The vehicle data displayed on the website are supplied by CAP AUTOMOTIVE. Whilst every effort is made to verify and ensure the accuracy of the data, the information should only be used as a guide and no decision should be made to purchase, hire or lease a specific vehicle without verification of the latest data from either the manufacturer or franchised dealer.

DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

Delivery timeframes quoted are subject to credit clearance, deposit payments being received along with all signed order forms and contracts being received by Intelligent Car Leasing Limited.

PRICING

Contract Hire payments are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. Personal Contract Hire rates are inclusive of VAT. All quotations include Road Fund Licence for the contractual period. The servicing element (if applicable) includes all routine maintenance, servicing, tyres, batteries, exhausts and necessary repair cost with the exception of accident damage. All pricing is correct at the time of print, unless changes in vehicle prices announced by the manufacturer or any fluctuations in FHBR. These figures do not constitute an offer. All applications subject to credit approval. Errors and Omissions excluded.

All contracts brokered by Intelligent Car Leasing Limited are subject to a £150 + VAT documentation/handling fee.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHAT WE USE IT FOR

We collect personal information when you use our services and the panels and any surveys on this site. We may also receive information about you from our business partners or marketing firms. We ask you for personal data only when it is needed for any services you have enquired about or asked us to provide or for participation in any panels, surveys or other activities in which you are taking part on the site or to respond to your requests for information.

Agents
We may use other companies and individuals to perform functions in certain situations on our behalf such as moderating a discussion panel, running a survey, making enquires about you or your company or passing your information to a credit reference agency (see Data Protection). Other examples could include providing marketing assistance and data analysis and providing customer service. These agents only have access to information required for that purpose and may not use it for any other purpose.

Subsidiaries and Strategic Partners
We share certain information with subsidiaries under our control and also with our affiliated businesses but we only share client information relating to a transaction with that business.

Data Protection – Fair Processing Notice
In considering your application we or our financiers will search your record at credit reference agencies. They will add to your record details of our searches and this will be seen by other organisations that make searches. Searches will also be made in respect of directors and partners of firms applying for credit. Information held about you by the credit reference agencies may already be linked to records relating to other people with whom you have a financial association. In connection with your application you may be treated as financially linked with them and assessed with reference to any such associated records.

If you are a joint applicant or if you have told us of some financial association with another person, you are declaring that you are entitled to:

  • Disclose information about your joint applicant and anyone referred to by you.
  • Authorise us to search, link or record information at credit reference agencies about you and anyone else referred to by you. It is important that you give us accurate information. We or our financiers will check your details with fraud prevention agencies and if you give us false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, we will record this. These records will be shared with other organisations and used by us and them to: help make decisions about credit and credit related services such as insurance for you and members of your household.
  • Trace debtors, recover debt, prevent money laundering and fraud. Fraud prevention agency records will also be shared with other organisations to help make decisions on motor, household, credit, life and other insurance proposals and insurance claims, for you and members of your household.

SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST

The Data Protection Act and Sixth Data Protection Principle gives individuals the right to access any personal information that a company may hold about them. Personal information refers to any data held by a company relating to a living individual, which would allow that individual to be identified from the data. Please note there will be a £10 processing fee for this request that can be payable by cheque or bank transfer.

BUSINESS TRANSFERS

We are continually trying to expand and improve our business and we may sell or buy businesses or assets in these transactions. Client information is generally one of the transferred business assets in these situations and in the event that Intelligent Car Leasing Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired, client information may be one of the transferred assets. Where we deal with other companies etc as above, we require those companies to comply with our privacy policy. We may also require to release information where required to do so by law. Other than in the above situations we will give notice on this site when your personal information might be shared with third parties and you will have the opportunity to decide not to share that information.
