Ten Second Review
Audi A3 Lease Review - The A3 range has a solid line up of engines which at the entry level have the power to keep drivers interested, all the way up to pure driving bliss with the more powerful and speedy models. In the least powerful A3 you'll be able to enjoy a 1.4L engine which is capable of outputting 121bhp. Much quicker and more solid is the top end 1.8L engine with a very impressive 178bhp coming out of it. Either way you're never going to be left short whether you choose entry level or top of the range. There are also a variety of diesel options to keep those who want more economy over fast acceleration in the loop. In fact the top end diesel engine is a 2L 248bhp beast so those wanting the most power might even be tempted to go for this variety.
The ride is dynamic with the suspension having different settings depending what type of driving you're most likely to be doing. They are named SE, Sport and S-line (in descending order or height). Probably the best option to go for is the SE suspension as it offers a good balanced drive which can react to stress without being over-sensitive. Overall the drive is very smooth and there's very little noise to talk of even in diesel versions.
Inside the controls are easy to use and well laid out. Behind the wheel you'll find almost all of the controls you'd need on a standard drive and any additional functions are within reach too. Technology has always been a strong selling point for Audi cars and the A3 doesn't disappoint. The seating isn't too fancy but it's comfortable and neatly upholstered. Overall the cabin is well kitted out and manages to maintain a high quality feel for something which actually helps keep costs down.
