BMW 4 Series Coupe Lease Review - There is no getting around the fact that the BMW 4 Series Coupe is one handsome compact executive coupe. But is it more style than substance?

Fortunately, it ranks high on both counts.

The first thing you’ll notice is its stunning looks. It is good-looking, and definitely looks athletic, with is flat roof line, flowing proportions and balanced dimensions that, when combined, screams elegance. It boasts the lowest ever centre of gravity among BMW’s recent crop of cars, and it has a 50:50 weight distribution, making for one of the most balanced rides you will ever have.

The BMW 4 Series Coupe also comes with BMW’s Air Breathers, located strategically on the front wheels, making it into a front-facing and forward-looking car. Aero Curtain on the bumpers also effectively regulates air resistance around the wheels, thereby reducing the possibilities of a bumpy or rocky ride. Night driving is also facilitated with this Coupe, thanks to its Adaptive LED headlights.

The engine can be diesel or petrol, and potential owners are given several options. For those who prefer a diesel engine, they can choose from the 184bhp 420d, the 218bho 425d, and the 258bhp 435d versions, while petrol engines come in 420i (184bhp 2-litre engine), 428i (245bhp 2-litre engine), and 435i (306bhp 2-litre engine).

Naturally, the BMW 4 Series Coupe is also outfitted by BMW’s xDrive four-wheel drive system. This guarantees grip and traction for those more challenging drives. Pair that with its quick, sharp and spot-on steering and it will never let you down.

With 4 being a number that is new to BMWs car releases a lot of people speculated huge change to the cars that were released under it. However this hasn't materialised with the new 4 series coupes largely taking the baton and continuing from the 3 series before it. The differences lie in the way the car handles and drives as BMW has stripped weight out of the car wherever they can. The result is a responsive and more fuel efficient coupe car that largely mimics the strengths of the old 3 series.
