Ten Second Review
Renault Zoe Lease Review - If you are concerned about the environment and want to look for a small car that is also electric, check out the Renault Zoe. It features a very comfortable ride, and the cabin is nicely apportioned. If you think it looks familiar, it'll be because it has the same body as the Clio, though the Zoe is a touch longer.
As it is an electric, your range away from the charging station is limited, about 100 miles. On the flip side, you do have a zero emissions vehicle which puts road tax out of the question too. The windows are smaller than you might expect, but they are there to reduce how much heat enters the car so it doesn’t take as much to cool it down, which draws down the battery.
Don’t expect this car to be a power horse; the electric motor does not deliver much hill climbing oomph or any dynamic high speed ability. Braking feels a bit different than you might be used to due to the fact that they are regenerative brakes.
The dash features a digital display, instead of dials. You get a screen on the dashboard that controls the navigation system, apps for the car, and the phone’s Bluetooth capacity, you'll be pleased to hear that all of those are standard on this car.
The interior is very light coloured, which helps keep the heat from building up, but it also is much harder to keep clean so not such a good feature if you're a bit messy.
