Ten Second Review
Audi A3 Saloon Lease Review - You could be forgiven for thinking that the A3 is actually its older cousin the A4 simply due to the size and shape of the vehicle. This car is only 24cm shorter than the older A4 which gives a reasonably sized vehicle in the smart personal/business market without being too small. This gives fleet managers a great opportunity to divide middle and upper management without upsetting anyone, something which was clearly a consideration by Audi when designing this car.
The engines available to the Audi A3 Saloon range from a 1.4 litre to 1.8 litre capacity in petrol versions up to a 2.0 diesel model. The power output across the engine range is very impressive with entry level being able to output 138bhp all the way up to an impressive 178bhp. Certain models make use of cylinder on demand technology which shuts down certain parts of the engine selectively to improve fuel conservation. Therefore Audi have given a solution so that a powerful doesn't necessarily have to mean huge fuel bills.
The inside of the car has had just as much attention paid to it as the inner workings under the bonnet. The steering utilises an electromechanical mechanism which gives the driver a responsive, light and nimble control over the vehicle. There's a definite premium feel to the inside of the car in general as everything just seems to work in unison. No out of place knobs or brackets, it flows and doesn't make the driver ask questions. Just what you need in a premium saloon like this!
