BMW 6 Series Convertible lease review - Built for both looks and performance the BMW 6 series provides ultimate satisfaction to serious drivers. With the convertible roof there is an added element to this already beautiful car. The M6 specifically draws on influences from across the BMW range to create a performance driven vehicle that smashes the competition in the same price range. You won't regret an investment in this sleek and dynamic road car from one of the best manufacturers in the world.

The 6 Series Convertible takes all the pros of the Six Series coupe and adds a fantastic folding roof into the mix for a sportier feel and that something extra that will always come with owning a soft-top. There is no downturn in performance and little effect on ride quality here, the extra weight in the chassis will affect your turning but it will still feel quick and grippy, just losing the sports performance and there is slightly more firmness is the ride quality. It comes with the same engine options but the 3.0 litre twin turbo diesel is the pick of the bunch, there is a 4.4 litre petrol with up to 552 bhp that will knock your socks off but this drinks like you wouldn’t believe and doesn’t benefit from the 8 speed automatic that works fantastically with the diesel.

This engine also sounds fantastic with the top down, and you will still be mostly protected from the wind without the roof, although with it on there is little or no outside distractions. Inside the Six Series Convertible has a very classy finish, with fantastic materials that are put together with true German build quality that leaves a flawless finish.

You still won’t fit two adults in the back in comfort for very long, but up front you benefit from heated leather seating and a host of kit to keep you happy. Regular models get a built-in touchscreen that controls most of the car, including the standard sat-nav, while the automatic lights and wipers and wind deflector help keep you in the zone on the roads.

The boot at the back is wide and comes with 250 litres of space, although this is reduced by 50 litres when the roof folds into it, but still has enough room for two sets of gold bags in the summer. In short, this is a wonderful motorway cruiser that gets plenty of payout from the folding fabric roof and will look fantastic in any situation, perfect for the couple on the go or the commuting businessman to enjoy throughout the week and into the weekend.
