Range Rover Sport Lease Review - The latest generation of the Range Rover Sport is improved in almost every area across the board. It is bigger, yet lighter, has a more distinctive outward appearance and handles more dynamically. What more can you ask for in terms of improvements on what was already a great specification car? The Range Rover Sport used to be dubbed a dressed up Discovery. Now it's a car in its own right that you'd both desire and be proud to own. This is luxury from front to back, and the Range Rover sport is well worth a look.

The Range Rover Sport lives it life in the middle ground between the Evoque models and the luxury 4x4s, it won’t completely break the bank but has plenty of luxury features that make it a great motorway cruiser. Despite being titled the sport this isn’t a model you’ll be taking around the track, although the V8 diesel will back a considerable punch, and you’ll need the dynamic model if you want a motor that corners brilliantly.

Otherwise, this is an excellent model on the motorways, with a very smooth ride that is phenomenally stable for a heavy car, you really do notice the 45 pounds lost between this and the older version. Where the Sport does come into its own is on comfort. Unlike the rest of the pack you get almost zero wind and road noise, while the engine hums gently and rarely needs to be coaxed. You’ll find the cabin a great place to be with even the entry level coming with adjustable leather seats, Sat-Nav and digital radio, with a wide cabin that can carry up to seven adults with the extra seats package, which can fold down electronically to make up to 748 litres of room, with a maximum of 1,652 litres that far outstrips the Evoque models.

Up front you have a great view of the road front and back, with a clever infotainment system that comes as standard. Land Rover’s off-road pedigree is represented in the form of a stability and roll control system that not only makes it better off-road but also makes it safer. There are only 6 airbags in the model, with little protection for that third row of seats, but it comes with all the security refinements you get in the higher models. In short, this works as a motorway cruiser with plenty of comfort and bags of style, for extra expense it clearly outstrips the Evoque.
