Nissan Qashqai Lease Review - This charming little crossover SUV comes with a range of petrol engines that perform great around town, but the smaller engines at the bottom end of the scale do struggle somewhat on motorways. The Visia model of the Nissan Qashqai is the entry level version, but it doesn’t scrimp on style or features. You’ll love the handling as you tackle the road’s curves and as you drive through dense urban areas thanks to the stability control.

You can choose from either four wheel drive for off road or bad weather handling, or a front wheel drive standard version for a comfortable ride around town. You can also pick from a six speed manual transmission or an automatic.

The Visia’s interior wraps you in quiet comfort, even at higher speeds thanks to the nice large cabin. You can arrange the driver’s seat and the steering wheel however you want for best comfort. Five seats mean you can take your family or friends where you need to go with no problems. Air conditioning and cruise control are included as standard. The transmission is responsive and easy to shift which always helps too.

The dashboard is easy to navigate and the buttons feel solid, not cheap. The Visia has an option for the Smart Vision Pack that gives you a lane departure warning system as well as a collision warning program. It holds up well in crashes and earns a five star safety rating. You get six airbags around the car as standard as well as braking assistance and footwell lighting means you can enter and exit your vehicle in the dark safely.. It does have some large blind spots at the rear pillars however which you need to be careful of.

The spacious boot can be made even bigger thanks to the foldable rear seats; you can choose which side works best thanks to the 60/40 split. You don’t even have to unfasten anything first. A false floor in the boot gives you a place to tuck some things away out of immediate sight (just don’t forget about them!)
