We recently offered the opportunity for one lucky bhoy or ghirl to be Celtic FC’s Club mascot at the Celtic v Kilmarnock game on Saturday 27th April 2019. The winning Celtic superfan would get to experience a trip to Paradise like never before.
As part of our competition, the winning entry was set to receive:
• A full 2018/19 Celtic kit to wear on the day
• The chance to lead Celtic down the tunnel and out on to the Paradise pitch in front of thousands of fans
• Two tickets for the Celtic v Kilmarnock game
The lucky bhoy, picked from our Twitter competition was Nathan, aged 8. Nathan’s mum, Michelle, who entered on his behalf said he was ecstatic to walk out as Celtic’s mascot and stand among his heroes for a day.
He was overwhelmed when standing hand-in-hand with Celtic’s captain and it took his breath away walking out on to the paradise pitch in front of thousands of fans.
Nathan even managed to meet with the rest of the Celtic FC Team and got some behind the scene photos with Tierney and Lennon – what a great day!
