Ten Second Review
Lexus NX Lease Review - The Lexus NX is the company's- somewhat belated- answer to ranges like the BMV X3 and the Range Rover Evoque. With many of its competitors having established themselves in the mid-size SUV department years prior, the NX needs to be something special to hold its ground at this point.

It seems like the NX is already trying to impress by the first moment you lay eyes on it. Its large, chunky grille makes it feel like the car equivalent of those built guys that come to bars just to watch football. It's aggressive, imposing, and just unique enough to stand out. Lexus is somewhat of a repeat offender when it comes to building twin ranges, but from the offset, the NX seems to have the right idea.

There isn't much difference between the models available, except for the equipment grade and, as we've seen far too often, the price. Opting for the lowest spec, the S, will maybe put you down a tax grade or so, but that's about it. Despite that, the Lexus' economy is nothing to complain about; 116g/km for the lower range model and 121g/km for everything else will make you almost £1000 richer than if you were to get the BMV X3 SE.

The LX is peaceful and relaxing in a gentle town setting, but quick acceleration can send the engine roaring. The electric-petrol drivetrain allows for the vehicle to run on pure electric power, but only for a mile and only at up to 30mph. The NX does a good job of stopping the extra wind and road noise from reaching the cabin, so overall, the NX is best for those who prefer quiet, peaceful rides.
