Ten Second Review
Alfa Romeo Giulietta Lease Review - A modest and subtly stylish family hatchback from the big name sports car manufacturer Alfa Romeo. Unlike many hatchbacks targeting a similar market the Guilietta doesn't hold back on the bells and whistles offering a luxury style car for the practical user. If you're looking for something that goes a little bit further than other family cars then this may be the choice for you.
No star-crossed or ill-fated visions for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. In fact, many agree that this could be the best car built by Alfa for over a century.
It has all the marks of a quintessential Alfa Romeo: it has character, it is refined and sophisticated, and it looks gorgeous. However, this time, a few other features were thrown in: it is economical, it is obvious that the manufacturers paid more attention to its build quality, and the “gorgeous” factor, while downplayed, was still evident. And this applies both to its exterior and interior.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which features a 1.4 litre petrol engine, is essentially a reworked version of the original Gulietta Sprint introduced way back in 1954. The most obvious improvements include an updated look, a new multimedia system, and other tweaks that increased the car’s efficiencies, while reducing emissions. Even now, it can still turn heads when it hits the roads or city streets.
But the Giulietta wins big on its steering. Behind its wheel, any driver would feel totally in control, thanks to its responsiveness and flexibility. Its DNA switch gives the driver more control when it comes to adjusting the dampers and various differential settings. It fares very well on different surfaces, even on slippery slopes and slides.
The launch-control system is also a good addition, allowing the Giulietta to have better traction control and increased acceleration. It is powerful and versatile, exactly what you’d expect from an Alfa.
